Abalone I + II [2022] - SOLD

(2) 36x36 mixed media on 1 5/8” cradled birch panels with whitewashed wood edges
signed and dated on the back - wax sealed and ready to hang

These mixed media paintings were built up using many layers of plaster, collage, and acrylic paint + glazes. This duo were a commission for a house in Central Oregon that I designed - boldly colored and marked base layers are subdued by multiple gridded graphic white and pearl plaster layers. It was great fun to install artwork that I created inside a home that I conceived.
