Image transfer collage layered with plaster and acrylic - I was motivated to try acrylic transfers after I gathered some amazing collage fodder from the home of a beloved friend and mentor who passed away in 2020. In scanning old family photos for her niece, I found I could scan, print and transfer using acrylic medium, without any damage to the original. A magical use for the many letters and treasures left by Leslie, as well as her architectural portfolio. It fills my soul to see bits of her all around me in my studio, sneaking their way into my artwork.
