“Counterpoint” at Soliloquy & “Surprise Party”

A quick note to let you know that I have artwork showing in two exhibitions that open this Friday, October 6th, in SE Portland - I hope you can JOIN US!

A view through Soliloquy’s window as we were finishing hanging “Counterpoint” yesterday

“COUNTERPOINT” featuring my work alongside the talented Fretta Cravens will be on display through November 10th at Soliloquy fine arts on 22nd and Clinton Street - I have eighteen pieces showing, some new, some from the archives, all available. I love how my mixed media mashups play alongside Fretta’s luminous floral photography, it’s a delightful pairing. The opening is from 5-7pm on Friday, October 6th. Please learn more about this lovely little gallery, a neighborhood gem established by Ruth Meijer, and her curation of this show by visiting Soliloquy’s website.

At 7pm I’ll be dashing over to The Ford Gallery (SE Division & 11th) to join the party - “Altered Course” [36x48] will be shown alongside abstract works from 35 talented local artists. With Backcountry Wine Bar’s doors thrown open and their DJ setting the background beat, these shows are always fun. Hope to see you there!
