18x36 mixed media on 1 5/8” cradled birch panel with whitewashed wood edges
signed and dated on the back - wax sealed and ready to hang

This mixed media painting was built up using many layers of plaster, collage, and acrylic paint + glazes. The collage layers are comprised of old book pages, hand-painted papers, maps and images of Florida. This commission for close relatives based in the Sunshine State, recalls their many years spent sailing the Gulf Coast and the breathtaking lakefront sunsets viewed from their home.
