This mixed media painting was built up using many layers of plaster, collage, and acrylic paint + glazes. The colorful collage bits are comprised of sand, sea and sky photos from our November Costa Rica escape, mainly taken during our nightly sunset beach walks along beautiful Playa Grande beach.
