PDX Open Studios - Ford Gallery Redux - PanCAN Fundraiser

Hey, friends - a quick note since there is a LOT going on: Portland Open Studios 2022 starts TOMORROW, Saturday, October 8th, and runs through Sunday the 9th, as well as the following weekend (15/16) from 10-5. Alongside me in Suite 215 of the Ford Building at 2505 SE 11th Ave is Thérèse Murdza (in Suite 227) and Amy Ponteri (in Suite 222) - they are both amazing people and artists, you will LOVE them. I am getting over Covid (yeah, awesome timing!) - my symptoms are gone, but I’ll stay masked for the first weekend per CDC recommendations. HERE’s a link to PDXOS 2022 with maps by area and artist profiles. This event is FREE to the public and only happens once per year, so don’t miss out!

REST [2022] 36x36 on 1 5/8 cradled wood panel - 100% of auction proceeds to be donated to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network

The above painting is located in the main entrance of our building, included in the reopening of the Ford Gallery - now under the management of Alison Dougherty, a fellow Ford Building artist. I’m auctioning this piece off with 100% of the proceeds going to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (tax deductible) in honor of our close friend Bill Madden, who we sadly lost on September 20th to aggressive pancreatic cancer. Please click HERE to go to the auction page on my website to learn more. The Ford Gallery, currently showcasing the work of artists residing in the Ford Building, will be open during Open Studio hours or by appointment. I submitted two additional pieces for this show (below), SCRIM [2022] 20X40 mixed media on wood panel, and SAFETY NET [2022] 30x30 mixed media on wood panel - please check them out on your way to or from your visit to the second floor this weekend or next.
