Portland Open Studios 2022

Please mark your calendars for Portland Open Studios, quickly coming upon us - held during the second and third weekends in October (8/9 + 15/16) from 10-5 each day. It’s FREE! You can find details about this event on PDXOS’s website by clicking the button above (interactive maps and curated tours are in the works!).

During these two weekends 118 local artists invite you inside their studios throughout the Portland metropolitan area to see how and where they create their art. There are two other fantastic artists just down the hall from me at the Ford Building who are also participating (Therese Murdza (Studio #83) and Amy Ponteri (Studio #85), making it a 3-for-1 stop. Also, the SE Community of artists is the largest in the metro area, so you can easily check out many other talented artists while you’re in the neighborhood. 118 studios are a lot to take in - you might consider previewing the artists work online and/or spreading your visits out over the event’s four days.

I’m excited to be participating for the first time in this event and eager to welcome all of you into my studio - please come by to chat for a bit and check out what I’m currently working on. I’m afraid it’s not quite as tidy as the image above, taken shortly after I moved into my studio in March, but I’ll get it dusted up before your arrival! If there isn’t someone available to let you into the Ford Building when you arrive, please scroll down the nearby call pad to my name - it will ring my phone so that I can buzz you in.

I’m really looking forward to seeing you!
